I used Adobe Photoshop 6 to cut the image into manageable chunks (less than 10,000 pixels wide and high), and then edited these with Paint Shop Pro (which I find more user friendly and intuitive to use). On my Dual CPU T7500 2.2GHz Laptop with 3GB memory it took several minutes to load the full size image into Photoshop. The image will load faster if you copy the contents of the DVD to your hard drive first. I hope that helps.
