The race track solution is simple. It is a track where moving targets can migrate around and be looked at by test articles for accuracy and identification purposes; they are guided by in "road" cables that the vehicles are programmed to follow. Test vehicles from way out (100+ miles) can track these moving targets are and record test data which is then compared to where the "target" actually was thus defining actual system capabilities.
