First clip of the New Area 51 Satellite Image

Here is the first overview clip from our new Area 51 Satellite Image (see attached link). The image was taken two days ago, on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11:26am PDT.

A first look at the new image shows the completed new hangar with a good size ramp around it, several new buildings and hangars and a new "racetrack" north of the S&R facility. A part of it is visible in the overview.

Thanks to the amount donated by our readers towards the purchase of this new image, I was able to buy a larger coverage area, including several new sites to the north and west.

The size of the image makes processing very time-consuming, but I will add more clips of areas of interest shortly.

I would like to thank all of you who helped make this possible with your donations. Your generous support for this project is much appreciated!

I will post more clips shortly, including shots of the two new "mystery" radio sites that can be seen in some of our newer Tikaboo Peak photos.
