Yes, it handles all of those issues.

Here's a list of the kind of self-calibration it does for you, for individual images:
Overall exposure correction
Vignetting
Centering of Vignetting
White Balance
Field of View
Lens distortion (overall)
Barrel lens distortion

in addition to the basic yaw, pitch, roll for individual images.

The basic interface allows you to start by simply importing images, and it will identify points in common between images, and give a stitched preview without much thought. There are a lot of bells and whistles, which I am learning little by little.

There are also quite a few output options for panoramas, too- meaning you can have it spit out fully stitched panoramas, or individual images that are ready for manual stitching with the appropriate distortion corrections.
