While returning to work at 4:30pm after my lunch break I noticed a group of high-flying airplanes moving eastbound in a hurry. One plane seemed to be out front of the others and the big plane looked like a jetliner. Immediately my thoughts were of bombers from the Dakotas being moved eastward to be possibly staged for a strike. After returning to work I learned from the radio that President Bush was flying from Omaha to DC. I almost certainly saw Air Force One. Shortly after that I left work early ... I found the sight of the dissipating contrails to be somewhat reassuring that at least the president wasn't harmed in todays attacks. My prayers go out to those of you that are impacted by the tragedy today. Luckily for my family and friends a childhood friend whose father works at the WTC towers slept late today for some reason. His office was above where the plane crashed and although some of the people in his office made it out not all of them did.
