I was trying to rationalize the 2008 view from Tikaboo of the new tower and the current Google Earth image. So I drew several ruler lines from Tikaboo directly to the new tower and then slightly further North directly to what we believe is the new shooting complex. Something struck me as being kinda peculiar. The new tower appears to be triangular in shape, equilateral, 30 feet per side/face. The problem is when looking at the ruler lines from Tikaboo on the GE satellite image the left face is more perpendicular to the line of sight from Tikaboo - the larger face should be to the left when being observed from Tikaboo. Both the 2006 and 2008 Tikaboo images show the larger face to the right. Maybe other explanations, but does the new tower rotate? The pad at the base of the new tower is circular.. Peculiar. NO?
