Here in the UK most of us havent heard of Area 51. the whole peter/jordan thing just made me laugh as theyre both thick as porridge and have probably seen some flares or something, panicked, and phoned the Sun newspaper. Just after publicity. Area 51/Military issues arent really siezed upon in this country due to the difference in how much importance/media coverage etc our country puts on the military. I wouldnt have dedicated any forum space at all to this topic personally, but i respect your point fully robert, as it does in some ways show how other societies see area 51. Something else i wouldnt have wasted forum space on is patriotic ranting about disrespecting the american flag either. Call me disrespectful etc, but when i see someone using the george cross or the union jack for something other than flying up a flagpole, i dont loose sleep about it, it doesnt bother me in the slightest and i dont see why it should bother you lot either. Its not as if anyone has declared war on your country or anything, so dont take it as such.
