I actually just took the tour on Wednesday. They still don't allow recording devices or cameras; HOWEVER there was a crew from KNBC in Los Angeles on the tour, and they definitely had a camera! They said they made an "exception" because they were part of the media. They did plenty of photography, and interviews with NTS folks and tour participants while still on the test site. No metal detectors or personal search though. At Gate 100 the security guard came on the bus, but didn't look in any personal bags or even do the famous "badge touch"!
