This is another great example how a small group, no matter how ignorant and misguided, yells loud enough and uses the PC vocabulary, will push politically biased politicians and equally ignorant media types into believing they have a worthwhile cause. Similar yelling minorities killed the manned off-world U.S. Space program, kneecapped high-tech programs, and forced intelligent people to the back of the bus. There is NOTHING safer for power production than Nuclear Power, and if people were not such idiots as a whole, we'd have a nation totally independent of fossil fuels and the resultant thousands of related deaths every year. But no, just listen to the people that should be on Jerry Springer, and let them run our energy policy and guide the country. Nuff said.
