This is to congratulate Joerg, Gary and Bill for the successful initial broadcast from Tikaboo Peak. It is right now around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2001, and (as I write at this very moment) I have been hearing the broadcast from around 8 p.m., right here in Torrance, California. You guys have made history!!
It is so amazing to hear your voices directly from atop Tikaboo Peak as you are all observing the base in the distance.
The first 10 minutes or so....I had absolutely no problem in receivng the broadcast.
It came out clear.
I wished I had stayed till today in Nevada so that I could join you for the history-making netcast.
But I had to come back to Torrance on Monday evening.
But I really enjoyed the Tikaboo hike with you guys on Sunday, Joerg, Gary and Bill! Indeed the view of the base was magnificent!
It was my fourth Tikaboo Climb, but this one with you guys was definitely the best!!
Next year we will definitely go for a live TeleCast from Tikaboo!!
Once again, Congratulations to you all! to Joerg and the DreamlandResort team!!
