The two well known spots are the Speedway, anywhere between gates one and six (they don't always come close to one gate or another - it's usually pretty varied - watching all the photographers' vehicles race to and from the various gates can be pretty funny; and Cheyenne Rd at the south end (x-street Nellis). There are several spots along Cheyenne that are good, depending on whether the a/c are taking off or landing. Ringe St / Cheyenne is a good place for both takeoffs and landings (but it's an afternoon spot), while if you go all the way to the end where the road turns right, this is a good spot for morning landings. There's also the desert area at the north end of the base, there are several dirt roads that lead to good viewpoints. Hope that helps. Brian
