I don't know if I'd want to use any titanium to titanium tools as there may be a tendency to gall if there's a lot of friction when tightening fasteners.

mil-spec is many time not so different from any other inductry specs - just more paper work and audits or sampling required to keep people on the govt payroll as source inspectors.
