I was out at Amarillo (Rick Husband) International Airport today taking some photos of the transient aircraft (heading to Red Flag) refueling here when I spotted a NAVY Aggressor F/A-18 from NAS Oceana (VFC-12) taxing out. Naturally I grabbed my long lens a took a few snaps ( who wouldn't) and i noticed the pilot giving me the bird! I laughed but didn't get the chance to return the salute - so if anyone is out shooting at Nellis and sees AMBUSH 01 - do me a favor and give him the Hawaiian good luck sign for me will ya?
