What looks like excavation in the north is the sewage treatment plant.

The area west of H-18 is where they used to do the toxic burning. The area has been filled in and leveled in an effort to contain the toxins in the soil.

The excavation in the SW is a large gravel pit including a concrete plant. The gravel pit seems to be still in use, although we have information that gravel is also being trucked in from a gravel pit SE of Las Vegas.

There is another smaller area just SW of the engine teste cells on the far south end. We don't have much information on this, and there does not appear to be any activity there any more. Possibly it was used for the construction of the engine test cells. Or to bury certain sensitive remains, who knows...
