The concrete materials currently being hauled into Area 51 could be needed, at least in part, for a re-surfacing of the runways and/or taxiways as well as the Janet ramp. Apparently the ramp of the Las Vegas Janet terminal is being re-surfaced at the moment as well, to support the weight of the new Jannet 737-600's. I imaging the same would be required on the other end.

I am sure our new satellite photo that we will present at the August Area 51 conference (see attached link) will tell us more about the increased construction activity at Groom. The satellite photo will also show, for the first time, the finished new hangar SE of hangars 9-16.
