well i had a flat on groom lake road. and they drove up about 20 yards away and watched me change the tire. as i finished up they drove by hand gave me a wave and nod to make sure i was good to go. so i bet they would at least do something in case of an emergency. if they were willing to watch and make sure i was ok with a flat, they'd definitely help out in a life or death case.
