I don't think anyone meant any offense. Due to the nature of our hobby, most of us are skeptics. Too many times have we seen people pop up in the forum with outrageous claims. I have no reason to doubt your story. In fact, if you have the time, I would really like a report for our trip reports section. This may help keep others out of trouble.

I hope you will reconsider returning to the Rachel area. Besides the subject of this web site, it is a very exciting area for people interested in geology and in the history of the state of Nevada, in particular the mining history.
