Knew Don Cornell well. When he first arrived in Vegas I picked him up at his hotel and was his escort on his first trip to work. Also was responsible for getting him his Site ID and showing him around the site. Godspeed Don. May the winds be strong, and the runway long, at touchdown.
Don was an exceptional pilot who I had the privilige of flying with several times in non-test aircraft. He was "one of the good guys" who was always ready with a joke or a smile. He will be missed.
Godspeed Don. May the winds be strong, and the runway long, at touchdown.
