My family and I are sickened by the prospect of a prison (private or not) in our favorite getaway destination. We hope that the county commission will see through all the hype and stand up to this group who wants to place such an awful place near Rachel. We are not a rich family, but do enjoy coming to the area, spending time and some money there. Having a prison nearby will make us think twice about coming. An email is on its way to the Lincoln County Commission expressing our sorrow about the prison.
