The last flight of a Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk took place today (11 August 2008). Lt. Col. Dwayne Opella departed from AF Plant 42, Palmdale, California, in Article 831 for a ferry flight to Tonopah Test Range, Tonopah, Nevada, where all but a few of the surviving airframes are in storage.
