Personally... In my opinion Russia are using far far more military power than is needed, Maybe one battallion, 50 tanks 10,000 troops wouldve had been a large enough presence but

90,000 troops
300 aircraft
360 Tanks

Against

15,000 troops
120 tanks
NINE aircraft

(SOURCES - WIKIPEDIA - AS OF 2008)

is taking the p*ss really, its all there to provoke a military response from the west, so that Russia have a reason to lead us into a potential World War.

But then again you have to consider theres a large US Army presence in Germany, And they also have a large Fighter Jet/Military transport aircraft prsence here in the UK!

RAF Lakenheath
RAF Mildenhall
And a radar relay tracking station aswell.

Some sort of deterent? with the inclusion of the rest of europe VS russia.

Im still not worked out at why they have made this bif of a deal with it all.

Any thoughts

Personally its been overblown a small militia battle has turned into a DECLARATION OF WAR
