Sounds like you had a BLAST! haha! And as you said, if that facility had that type of security, then Groom must have out of this world systems and procedures.

They would probably make retinal/fingerprint scanners and pressure locks look like toys!
I do think though that there is some type of underground facility at groom, and one opf the hangars contains a lift down to it. But like everything else at groom makes you sit and wonder what it could be!
Even small and unlikely things maybe part of it....the mailbox....??? Isnt it always locked! That maybe be used for a motion sensor, sound equipment anything, random i know but you never really know!
