Just so everyone knows first hand from the person who talked with the Producer, they never identified what their angle was, but it is seldom interesting to air nything as dull as super secret flight test with no video to show of the aircraft. I did explain about what this site's focus is and that the base is primarily if not completely used for very secret flight test and development. He still wanted to interview me on-camera at a local affiliate, which I declined. I have shot enough video for broadcast and am now being published in tactical magazines almost monthly, so I know that the editors can always have the last laugh. Sorry it didn't turn out better for the DLR team, but with the VERY short notice approach and less than candid intent, as far as I'm concerned, it was typical of the media and producers in general.
