Au contraire. Its a great place to camp during the Flag exercises. You will see lots of activity, air-to-air refuelling etc. right overhead. Most activity is high up, though, above 18,000ft.
The agressor team comes straight up Sally Corridor from Nellis, then sets up formation over Delamar Lake, and goes into the Ranges usually heading northwest, then west, then southwest. That way they avoid the restricted airspace around Groom.
