When Iam traveling from Vegas to Rachel my phone (Alltel) will switch between the two. When I get to the upper lake I pick up the Alamo tower (its next to the high school) and lose it just past Ash Springs. I pick up the Rachel tower a mile or two past Coyote Summit. I hear different stories from alot of people. It may have to do with their provider and the type of phone they have.
