I generally consider myself fairly tech "literate" but we recently acquired a new digital camcorder and I am stumped as to how to handle the image files that I've pulled from it. It is a Canon HG10 with a hardrive and I have no problem pulling the recordings off the unit but the store in the computer in a way I'm not familiar with. I can open and view the raw pieces using the Corel viewer but I cannot upload the raw clips to Photobucket or any other hosting site......when I try it simply tells me there are no image files present. I believe they save as an ".m2" file or something similar but I don't that computer in front of me at the moment. I have lots of trip/LV footage that I want to work with but simply can't figure it out for the life of me. I can't find a way to convert the files to any other type either.
