DOE arms sites may be closed, report says

A new military base-closing commission may also consider shutdowns at Energy Department nuclear weapons facilities, the Washington Times reported Monday.

President Bush has proposed that the scope of the commission be expanded to include sites within the Energy Department, the report said.
