As far as the callsign used by Site aircraft, they are very tricky in the assignments. The current scheme is to use a generic callsign for ALL aircraft during the day. For instance....you may hear TENT 41...TENT 96....TENT 04.......and one may be the helicopter...another a C-130 and one may be the Mission aircraft. It makes it very hard to tell what aircraft it is. I believe they switch on a weekly basis. It is interesting to note that the JANET aircraft will use their callsign until they contact the Dreamland controllers....and then they change to another generic callsign.......TOMB 71....for instance. Extremely difficult to keep tabs on them. It works brilliantly!
