QRZ.com shows ONE ham in 89001 zip code. He shows in Alamo.

artscipub.com shows NO repeaters in the area. I think there's a 2m/6m machine on the west side of the NTS,
at Angel peak.

I'm going up to park my rover somewhere and work some QRP. I haven't decided exactly when to go.
