Jackethorn; please don't take this as another negative post towards you as I respect new ideas and the resulting discussion of them. Having said that, I believe that the 'caretakers' of our favorite spot are professionals and have sensor technology that none of us know about. I think that it would be extremely unlikely, if not impossible, for a man, a horse, and mule to make it much past the border before being apprehended. I know a guy that tried taking a "jeep trail" (his description) off of highway 95 to Beatty a few years ago and was surrounded by both vehicles and 'uniforms' about a mile off of 95. He said they seemed to 'just appear' and had no idea where they came from. I don't think that they just focus on one point of the compass, such as the East side, but all sides of the area.
