This may be a silly question but I'm gonna ask anyway. Sitting around daydreaming today and had a thought. What if a commercial jetliner had serious mechanical problems and the only airstrip nearby where they could land would be Area 51. Could they get clearance to land there? If so how would the passengers and crew be handled? If no clearance what if they landed anyway?
