The attached link to the Roadrunners Internationale web site has tons of stories of the original Roadrunners, the men and women involved in the U-2 and A-12 Reconnaissance Projects out of Area 51. New stories are added all the time in an ongoing effort to preserve the Roadrunners History, such as an article by A-12 pilot Frank Murray "Remembering the A-12 Unstarts" from the March 2008 Member Newsletter.
