Plan you trip needs as if you were going camping. Bring the essentials (Water, food, maps or gps, cell phone, flashlight, sun screen,gun) Be prepared for desert stuff like snakes and Scorpions. Wear boots while hiking, know your limitations. Are you physically fit to climb a mountain? Probably bring the best optics you can but remember you will have to carry them for a long hike, added weight will factor in to your ability to climb up to tikaboo. What else is there? Oh yeah bring your ID, if you bust the border it will be required equipment. ;) Also, Gas up in alammo before you press on to rachel. Good luck!!! Post your pics and trip report!
