I went to the Little Ale Inn after visiting the gate & mail box etc. I would certainly go to the Ale Inn first if I had to do it all over again. They were a lot of fun & informative. Even purchasing the area 51 guide helped in recognizing the sites mentioned so often. I think any one going their first time would be more relaxed in gaining the shared knowledge the locals have - they are real people & greatly involved with the base & it's happenings one way or the other. Naturally - this site stands above all other means in gaining facts about what goes on out there. It was exciting to have been there - I cant thank the DLR enough for pooling so much knowledge! I will go back sometime a more prepared seeker!
