MAKE SURE the sare tire is NOT flat when you rent the Montero.
Most roads are fairly easy to get to, including the Tikaboo road. Joerg is right though, the sharp, small rocks will kill a tire in a New York Minute.
Go fairly slow and watch out for large boulders or rocks and cacti in the road.
