Joerg got some blurring in his shots due to a mirror lock-up bug, but I have a roll that I will scan and post. The viewing conditions were pretty poor, so don't expect too much. We were up there during a record heat wave. Temperatures were running about 10 to 15 degrees abouve normal, and Jeorg had mentioned that the air seemed to contain more dust than normal, probably due to windy conditions preceeding the hike.

The open hanger "door" was seen at night, making exposure a real guess. While delusional from the high altitude and overdosed on peppered beef jerky, we thought we saw a large plane in the hanger. When daylight arrived, it turns out that what we saw were two hanger doors open, and the light on the airplane was really a light on the building.

Anyway, it goes to show you that taking a spare camera is a good idea on telescope shots where so many things can go wrong, plus the lab could screw up.
