I think it is more of an intimidation factor than anything else..........most people would turn and beat feet. Those of us that have been around awhile know they have no grounds to harrass us. In our case, we saw the ASI vehicle coming towrds us and we just started to leave. As we were driving away, he turned on his lights and siren.......and we just kept on driving. Finally we stopped......dont think he was very happy at that stage! He was a bit shocked when he peered in the vehicle and saw all of our "gear" and then demanded the drivers license from Whiskey-3. We were nice but made it known we had every right to be there....which made him even madder!
