I was recently confronted by two cammos while hiking OUTSIDE the border, near White Sides. They raced their vehicle towards me across the desert floor, and stopped within inches of me, covering me in a cloud of dust. One got out and tried to be tough, but I explained to him that I was on public land. That shut them up, and they drove off.
