The Google Earth sat image update now shows the GL Rd. Guard Shack area in much better quality. The satellite image of that area, taken on 10/27/2006, shows the new tower at N37 20' 38.9" / W115 39'24.6". It is located on a hill SE of the Guard Shack, and should be clearly visible from Hawkeye Hill (at only 0.6 miles distance).
