The Groom Lake area in Google Earth has been updated with a new satellite photo taken on January 20, 2007. It shows the new hangar in an earlier stage of construction than our July 18, 2007 satellite photo. The image is excellent quality, better than 1 meter resolution. The image also shows the Tall King site south of the road to Gate 700 in more detail, and the newly expanded site north of the road. The strange markings on the old center taxi way are considerably less. So, whatever caused them increased activity significantly between January and July 2007.
