The RCS pylon is on a concrete pad on a loop road located near the western edge of the lakebed. You cant miss it. Subscale and full-scale models, and actual aircraft have been pole-tested there. Early A-12 models were tested at a range near Indian Springs. Other RCS sites can be found at White Sands, New Mexico and several places in California: Helendale - Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin Grey Butte - McDonnell Douglas (no longer RCS range, sold to General Atomics) Tejon Ranch - Northrop (now Northrop Grumman) Arvin - Rockwell (no longer active)
