Well, duh! I measured the wrong tower. I am not to operate heavy machinery today. I measured the Groom control tower. It casts a shadow length of about 25.2'. This gives a height of 63.3' The hexagonal cap on the top of the control tower has a diameter of 19'. Nice to have a sense of scale for the thing though. The long white rectangle on the northerly side of the tower is apparently a double-wide office. It measures 72.3' by 21.4'. I shall examine the new triangular tower shortly.
