I find it interesting to watch the "witnesses".

They seem amazingly calm and disinterested considering there is a UFO hovering over their pub. Those two girls at bottom right look toward the photographer virtually all the time. Lots of laughing people who eventually decide to just go back inside and continue the party. You see more alarmed response at a simple car crash. If this were a "world coming to an end" alien invasion, I'd expect a much more chaotic response from the neighborhood.
