If they were being used for some sort of liquid transport, chances are they would be wider at one end than the other (the wide end to couple with the next pipe). Large PVC pipes are incredibly uncommon for all sorts of purposes. Except since the pipes are already there, I'd expect some digging to be happening... but it's not. Perhaps they will run this stuff above ground?

They don't all appear to be the same size/length, also-- some at the bottom are shorter and appear thinner (could this be the angle of the image?)

We could really use someone who's done large-scale contracting on this site. Anyone got any friends who could take a look and know what they're looking at?
