Thanks Hank for the information it will prove to be very useful. As for the 4WD, I just got myself a 07 Xterra and I plan on putting at least a 3-5 inch left, 3/16in. steel skid plates over the fuel tank and transfer box, and a off road steel front bumper with 3/16in. skid plate as well. I'm driving down from Oregon with a buddy who has a suburban and we are taking enough food and water for about 2 weeks. I plan on bringing my HAM radio and flares for emergency use. Hopefully this will be enough for a first time expedition, I plan on checking out basecamp, Groom lake Road, The back gate, roadblock canyon, tikaboo, and of course Rachel. Anyway I guess my main reason for wanting to visit roadblock canyon is to see if I can get buzzed by a blackhawk, from what I hear this is about the only location they do it?
