the other side of the fence is grossly overdue, I just
can't see it happening anytime soon.
with little of the security hysteria of our favorite secret
base. Yet over the past several years, there have been
a number of negotiations with the AF and Sandia for access
by several reputable persons and organizations for the purposes
of doing news pieces on the really interesting activities there.
All to date have fallen through. If I recall the particulars
correctly, DOE and Sandia said OK, but the AF said no. Too
bad, because it's a great place.

Seriously though, a little public access would go a long way toward
de-mystifying the place, and perhaps greatly lessen the tourist
traffic, thus allowing our boys to do what they do best: Build and
fly them saucers!
