The ET Highway signs on both ends of Hwy 375 have been missing for a while now. My guess is that they were stolen and no one bothered to replace them.

As most of you will know, they were set up in 1996 in connection with the premiere of the movie Independence Day, to attract more tourists to the area. Since then, the UFO boom has died down, and today most people visit the area for other reasons than to watch for UFOs.
