Joerg, How much control over time-of-day and day-of-week can we have? My preference would be some shadows, allowing better height estimation, but not overly so. Given its mid-summer maybe around 09:30 - 10:30 or 14:00 - 15:00. You would know best. And preferably not on a weekend or a holiday. Did they say from the time we say go how long it would take to schedule the imaging? Asking re: the thunderstorm season and likelihood of clouds. That might also favor a morning time slot. NO?
