Google Street View and the Janet Terminal

A bit of fun can be had using Google's new Street View. Las Vegas was one of the cities they rolled it out in, and covers much of the downtown area. Those fun Googlers also included Haven Avenue, the site of the Janet terminal. Resolution is not too good, but it's sort of fun, especially if you're planning a trip and want to see the road in advance.

I haven't a clue how to link direct to a Street View scene, so I offer two ways to get there. First is go to Google Maps and search for 3954 Haven, Las Vegas. Google recognizes that as the address right in front of the Janet access driveway. Once it's marked on the map, click on the new "Street View" button in the upper right and wander around.

As an alternative, I've included (I hope) a direct link below to 3954 Haven in Google Maps below.

Once you tire of that, try looking for drunks (or worse) on the Strip.

Now if we could get the Googlers to drive Hwy 375.....
