The problem with running any business in Rachel is getting staff to live there. Spending a week in the range is fun, but 365 days a year is something else. In many ways, the over of the QuikPik had the right idea, i.e. rent out spaces for mobile homes, trailers, etc. The liability is much less than providing a trailer, bed, etc, worse yet letting random occupants share a bathroom. The trailer park needs fewer workers. Of course, the QuikPik owner had a bit of difficulty in the execution of the plan. I've talked to the former owner of the Bates in Alamo. You wouldn't believe the trouble she had getting workers in Alamo. You can assume it's an order of magnitude harder in Rachel.
